Liverpool teammate wishes Emre Can a happy 21st birthday [divider]
Liverpool full-back Jose Enrique wished fellow teammate Emre Can a happy 21st birthday.
Enrique shared an image posing alongside Can with the caption, “Happy birthday to my friend and team mate @ec2323 . See you tomorrow my friend :)”
Liverpool have won five and drawn two of their last seven fixtures in all competitions, with the 21-year-old playing some part in all but one of those games.
Despite being a midfielder Can has featured as a defender in the Reds last few games.
Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet praised Can following the Reds win over Sunderland in the Premier League on the weekend.
“He’s a strong boy,” Mignolet told the official Liverpool website.
“He’s a very positive character as well and he’s done really well coming into the team.”
Can has made 14 appearances for the Reds this season.
