Emre Can is expected to retain his place in Liverpool’s starting line-up following his impressive performance against Arsenal on Wednesday.

The 22-year-old took 75 touches, made 39 accurate passes and two key passes according to Opta stats. Can also contributed defensively with two tackles, three interceptions and an impressive 12 defensive duels won.

The Liverpool midfielder Emre Can also managed to provide an assist setting up Firmino with the opening goal.

The draw saw Liverpool move into 9th point meanwhile Arsenal were able to just about keep onto the number one spot on goal difference after Leicester City beat Tottenham at White Hart Lane.

Can is once again set to start in midfield alongside James Milner and Jordan Henderson.
