Liverpool v Norwich: Confirmed starting line-ups – Emre Can starts in midfield

Liverpool star Liverpool team news

Liverpool take on Norwich at Anfield hoping to turn around their poor start to the season.

The Reds are currently in 14th place on seven points but a win could see them leapfrog eight teams and move into joint 4th on 10 points.

The Premier League giants were held to a 1-1 draw in France against Bordeaux in their opening Europa League group stage match midweek.

Emre Can will start in midfield as he did against the Ligue 1 outfit on Thursday – despite playing part of the game as a full-back.

The 21-year-old will partner up with Lucas Leiva and James Milner in midfield while Coutinho, Benteke and Sturridge lead the attack.

Liverpool will be without the injured Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge while Andre Wisdom will miss the game for Norwich due to being ineligible to face his parent club.

Norwich will also be without the injured Gary Hooper and Youssouf Mulumbu.
