Former Liverpool winger Dirk Kuyt believes the atmosphere at the Atatürk Olympic stadium will be incredible.

Liverpool take on Beşiktaş in the Europa League Round of 32 second-leg in Istanbul tonight.

“I’ve always said the best supporters are in England, and the way the fans are in the Premier League is amazing. But this is a totally different kind of support to England – they are so fanatical and sing for 90 minutes. They are always behind the team and you will feel the stadium moving tonight,” Kuyt told the official Liverpool website.

Kuyt knows Turkish football well having spent the past three seasons at Süper Lig giants Fenerbahçe.

The 34-year-old joined the Yellow Canaries from Liverpool in 2012 for €1 million and has 34 goals and 27 assists in all competitions for Fenerbahçe.

Tickets for the game have already sold out and Beşiktaş are expected over 70,000 fans in the stands.

The Black Eagles will have to turn around the 1-0 defeat they suffered at Anfield if they want to progress to the next round.

Fenerbahçe are currently third in the Süper Lig just two points behind league leaders Galatasaray.
