Antalya enjoys around 300 days of sunshine per year making the Mediterranean region an attractive location for clubs from Northern and Western Europe to train during the winter break.

Lokomotiv did not have luck on their side however, as a storm and torrential rain forced the Russian club to cancel training on their first day in Turkey.

Several German, Belgium, Netherlands and Turkish clubs train in Antalya during the winter break.
