Luis Suarez has described his Barcelona teammate Arda Turan as being the joker of the pack in his latest interview with Fanatik.
Suarez praised the flexibility of his Turkish international team-mate and underlined that he is capable of playing both as a forward and in midfield.
The Uruguayan international also stated that he admires Turan’s work rate and that he is a very important player in the squad.
“Arda Turan is a really important player for us and he is wiling to not only play wherever Luis Enrique asks but also try his hardest in every position,” Suarez was quoted as saying.
“He is the joker in the pack, he can play midfield and as a forward and is excellent in all the positions he plays.”
The 29-year-old has played in every position in midfield and the final third this season as well as a right-back against Deportivo.
Turan is having one of his most productive season since moving to Spain from Galatasaray and already has five goals as well as four assists in all competitions for the reigning La Liga champions.
The experienced Barca star missed last weeks clash against Valencia due to an elbow injury and remains a doubt against Granada after injuring his foot against Espanyol in the Catalunya Cup mid-week.
