Man City hold talks with Besiktas president in London over loaning Samir Nasri

Besiktas president Fikret Orman is currently in London holding talks with Manchester City representatives regarding a loan transfer for Samir Nasri.

Gunes was quoted by Turkish-football as saying: “The boss [Fikret Orman] is in London holding talks, we left transfers late last season as well.”

Turkish football journalist Firat Gunayer who has close ties to the Istanbul giants also revealed yesterday that negotiations are ongoing.

The Black Eagles are keen on bringing in the out of favour attacking midfielder on a temporary move to replace Jose Sosa who joined AC Milan on a €7.5 million move on Wednesday.

Besiktas are hoping that City will send their out of favour attacking midfielder out on a temporary move so that he can rediscover his form.

The Istanbul giants would be able to offer Champions League football and cover part of his wages for the season.

Nasri was left out of the Champions League squad against Steaua Bucharest on Tuesday and is not expected to feature in Pep Guardiola’s plans this season.
