Klopp was reported to have entered talks with Fenerbahçe according to a report in the Turkish newspaper Sabah.

Doğan News Agency (DHA) also claimed that Klopp had arrived in Turkey for negotiations with the Yellow Canaries and that he had visited the clubs training grounds in Düzce.

Fenerbahçe also released an official statement denying reaching an agreement with Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp.

The statement read: “The Sabah report claiming Fenerbahçe are in advanced talks with Klopp are false, Ismail Kartal is the clubs manager, we urge the media in question to stop trying to play mind games and disrupt the team.”

Klopp has already revealed that he will leave Dortmund after the DFB Pokal final at the end of this month.

The German manager has also been closely linked with taking over Manchester City in the summer.

Fenerbahçe are currently second in the Süper Lig, three points behind league leaders Galatasaray with two games left.
