Man City wonderkid: Zlatan Ibrahimovic is my idol

Manchester City wonder-kid Enes Ünal has stated that PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is his idol.

The 18-year-old also revealed that he enjoys watching Real Madrid star Benzema and Fenerbahçe striker Robin Van Persie.

“Could be Ibrahimovic, could be Hakan Sukur. I do actually like a lot of players,”  Ünal told Manchester City’s official website when asked to name his favourite strikers.

“Amongst the present day central forwards I like Benzema, Van Persie, but I like Ibrahimovic the most.”

Ibrahimovic scored 30 goals in 37 appearances for PSG last season and has previously also played for Barcelona, AC Milan, Juventus, Inter Milan and Ajax.

Ünal has an extraordinary international record, hitting the back of the net 24 times in 25 games for the U16’s and has already been called-up to the U19, U21 and senior Turkish national team.

The former Bursaspor striker also became the youngest player ever to score in the Süper Lig in 2013 and already has seven first team goals for the Green Crocodiles.

Ünal has become the first Turkish player to join the Citizens and the youngest player from the Süper Lig to make a move to the Premier League.
