Beşiktaş president Fikret Orman has revealed that Oğuzhan Özyakup will definitely not be leaving the club over the winter transfer window.

Roman could not however, rule out the possibility of a summer transfer for the right price.

“He will not be leaving over the winter there is no way we can let that happen but after Euro 2016 I do not know if we will be able to keep him,” Orman was quoted as saying by Fanatik.

The Turkish intentional midfielder has been pulling the strings in the Beşiktaş midfield this season and scored the winning goal for the second consecutive game against Sivasspor on the weekend.

Özyakup has a total of four goals and six assists in all competitions for the Black Eagles this season and another three years remaining on his contract.

The 23-year-old has played a key role in Beşiktaş rising to the top of the table under the stewardship of Şenol Güneş this season.

Özyakup has caught the attention of Manchester United scouts according to the Milliyet (via Eurosport).

Arsenal have also shown an interest in re-signing their former youth player as they continue efforts to sing a deep-lying midfielder according to Talksport.
