Man Utd fullback & Galatasaray target Rafael's agent confirms talks

Rafael da Silva’s agent Cassiano Pereira has told Turkish-football.com that his client is in talks with numerous clubs.

Pereira went onto state that his client is yet to reach an agreement with any of the clubs he is in contact with.

The 25-year-old right back has been placed on the transfer-list by Manchester United following the acquisition of the Italy international Matteo Darmian.

Rafael was left out of United’s pre-season USA tour which began on Monday. The Brazil international current contract has just one year left to run meaning United may let the right-back go for a cut price.

Galatasaray who have been closely linked with Rafael, have made strengthening at right-back a priority over the summer after a string of poor performances from Tarık Çamdal.

Rafael would become the Lions third Brazilian player should he join; Felipe Melo and Alex Telles being the other two.

The Brazil international provided one assist and scored on goal in 17 appearances for Manchester United last season.
