Man Utd keeping tabs on Turkey international star

Manchester United have been keeping close tabs on Fenerbahce star Ozan Tufan according to AMK.

The report also claims that United will send scouts to monitor Tufan over Euro 2016 this summer.

The 20-year-old box-to-box midfielder had a meteoric rise to fame last season going from total obscurity to a Turkish international regular and earning a high profile move from Bursaspor to Fenerbahce.

Tufan managed to break into the Fenerbahce first-team last season and has been called up to the 23-man Euro 2016 squad for Turkey this summer. The youngster is expected to star in central midfield for Turkey in France.

United would have to offer €20 million to activate Tufan’s release clause as Fenerbahce are reluctant to part ways with their rising star.

The Red Devils were closely linked with the young midfielder before his move to Fenerbahce along with several other European clubs according to Ozan’s father.

“Other big European teams have sent scouts to watch Ozan play…AC Milan, Juventus, Chelsea and both Manchester clubs, City and United,” Mehmet Tufan told Spanish newspaper AS.
