Galatasaray star Lukas Podolski made a guest appearance at Germany international teammate Bastian Schweinsteiger’s wedding.
As we have come to expect from the former Arsenal man he documented it all on social media.
Podolski shared a picture with Mr and Mrs Schweinsteiger and added the following caption: “Happy to share this moment with the new Mr & Mrs 🙂 #married #love #friends #poldi #basti.”
Schweinsteiger could end up joining Podolski in Turkey if today’s report from the Fanatik sports newspaper proves to be true.
The article claims that Fenerbahce are pushing for a move and that United are ready to sell the experienced midfielder.
Podolski is currently one of two Germany international players plying their trade in Turkey. The other being Besiktas star Mario Gomez – although his future at the club remains in doubt as he was on loan and has not renewed his deal.
Podolski won the Turkish Cup in his first season at the club scoring the winning goal in the final against arch rivals Fenerbahce.
