Galatasaray are plotting a loan move for Manchester United winger Memphis Depay according to Fanatik.

Per the source, the Lions are set to make an enquiry regarding Depay’s availability and hope the prospect of playing first-team football for a side in the title race will be enough to convince the Dutch international into considering the move.

Depay has struggled for playing time under United boss Jose Mourinho and his future at the club is in doubt following a report in the Independent which claims that four players – including the winger – could get axed in January.

Mourinho could look to get rid of Depay, Matteo Darmian, Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger over the winter transfer break.

Galatasaray could however, face competition from the Serie A with Inter Milan and Roma keen on a loan deal for the 22-year-old.

Depay has failed to score of provide an assist this season and has played just 118 minutes of first-team football in all competitions.
