Fenerbahçe will officially unveil Robin Van Persie in a signing ceremony held at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium today.
Van Persie will sign a three-year deal putting an end to his Manchester United era but his former teammates were full of support and wished him all the best across the social media networks.
Daley Blind shared a picture on Instagram holding hands with his Netherlands international and ex United teammate alongside the caption: “Thanks for everything @robinvanpersie Wish you all the best with your new adventure!!”
Former United star Rio Ferdinand nicknamed Van Persie ‘Mr 20’ in his tweet remembering what the Dutch star achieved at the club including playing a key role in winning the 20th championship.

Ferdinand left the best till last as he shared an emotional page long Facebook post going over everything from Van Persie’s admiration for Sir Alex Ferguson to his most memorable goals over the years.
The former England international also found another moniker for Van Persie this time naming him Van Pizzle.
