Man Utd star dropped from squad ahead of Bournemouth game amid Turkish giants offer

Galatasaray target Bastian Schweinsteiger has been left out of Manchester United’s provisional squad ahead of their opening Premier League game of the season against Bournemouth.

The 32-year-old midfielder has been banished to train with the reserves and has not featured over the pre-season period.

The former World Cup winner does however, have another two-years remaining on his contract and United would have to pay near to €13 million for a player sitting in the reserve side if he were to stay on.

Galatasaray have made an offer for Schweinsteiger to the the experienced midfielder on a one-year loan and cover over half his wages this season.

The Istanbul giants are currently looking at alternatives for Lucas Leiva who was on the verge of joining from Liverpool until talks broke down last minute.

AMK have revealed that the Lions want Schweinsteiger on a temporary move and are willing to pay up to €3.5 million of Schweinsteiger €6.5 million salary.
