Man Utd suffer transfer blow as Inter agree personal terms with Portugal star

Manchester United have suffered a blow in the race to sign Luis Nani after the Portugal international agreed personal terms with the Serie A giants Internazionale.

The Fanatik newspaper have reported that Roberto Mancini’s side have reached an agreement with Nani and that they will begin negotiations with Fenerbahce over the transfer fee.

The 29-year-old has a £6.2 million release clause for sides from the Premier League, La Liga and Serie A which would be more than the £4.2 million United received for him last year.

Manchester United are also reported to have already agreed personal terms with Nani according to Turkish media outlet DHA. United will have to offer more than they sold Nani for just last year if they are to bring him back to Old Trafford.

Nani has years of Premier League experience having won the domestic title four times and the Champions League during his time at United.

The Portuguese intentional scored scored 13 goals and provided 12 assists in 46 appearances for Fenerbahce last season.
