Manchester City youngster expected to arrive in Istanbul tonight

Manchester City’s young centre-back Jason Denayer will arrive in Istanbul tonight at 20:00 (GMT) according to LigTV.

The Belgium international is expected to put pen-to-paper on a season long loan with Galatasaray.

It is unknown whether Galatasaray have agreed an option to sign the young defender.

Denayer is set for a season long loan at Galatasaray according to SkySports. The Belgium international is understood to be keen to play Champions League football this season.

The 20-year-old who was voted Scotland’s Young Player of the Year last season, turned down ‘a number of offers’ in favour of Galatasaray.

The Belgium international scored six goals and setup two assists in 44 appearances for Celtic in all competitions last season.

Galatasaray dropped into 13th place with just one just 1 point after two games following the defeat to newly promoted Osmanlıspor. The Lions take on Konyaspor next at the Konya Torku Arena in the Süper Lig.
