Manchester United consider January bid for Liverpool target

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is considering making a January move for Bayer Leverkusen’s young playmaker Hakan Çalhanoğlu according to TalkSport.

The station station report that Van Gaal has reportedly sent scouts to see Çalhanoğlu in action and he is now considering a January move.

Liverpool are also in the race with United in the race to sign the Bayer wonder-kid according to the Daily Star.

Arsenal and Serie A giants AC Milan are also reported to be interested in the 21-year-old play-maker.

Çalhanoğlu is regarded as being one of the best set-piece specialists in world football.

Pep Guardiola recently revealed that he is a fan of the free-kick maestro, “Çalhanoğlu is one of the best free-kick takers in the Bundesliga.”

Çalhanoğlu is the sixth most valuable U-21 player in the world according to a recent study conducted by Soccerex.
