The home side took the lead thanks to a brilliant overhead kick from Moussa Sow inside the first few minutes.
To make matters worse Paul Pogba had to be taken off half an hour into the game due to injury.
The severity of Pogba’s injury is currently unknown but he was unable to continue the game and was replaced by striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
We took a look at how Man Utd fans reacted to Pogba’s injury on social media.

Typical! any reason to attack Wayne Rooney! to be fair it was an awful first touch.
To be fair to Pogba.
After seeing that first touch from Rooney before, I'd pretend to be injured as well.

Irony doesn’t always work on twitter.
Pogba going off injured in a Europa League game. Isn't that just wonderful?

Even with Pogba getting injured Mkhitaryan still did not get a look in. The Armenian international must be wondering what he has to do to break into the team.
If only there was an attacking midfielder to replace Pogba with? 🤔 pic.twitter.com/a1Yv2yapxD

Nothing could be done about the Pogba injuries but a few United fans questioned Mourinho’s decision to replace him with Ibrahimovic over a midfielder.
