Manchester United keep close watch on highly rated Turkish wonderkid

Manchester United are amount several clubs interested in signing the highly rated Turkish midfielder Ozan Tufan.

The Newcastle Cronical newspaper has reported that the Red Devil’s have been monitoring the Turkey international’s performances closely over the past 12 months.

Tufan scored for Turkey during 2016 and has been likened to the Manchester City star Yaya Toure.

“He still has a lot to learn and that is my job but the world will soon have a central midfielder on the level of Yaya Toure on their hands,” Fenerbahce boss Vitor Pereira told reporters.

Tufan became the youngest player to score in Euro 2016 when he found the back of the net in the 2-0 win over the Czech Republic in the final Group D game.

The 21-year-old started in all three games for Turkey over their Euro 2016 campaign and has a total of two goals and one assists in 27 international matches. Tufan made 46 appearances for Fenerbahce this season.
