Manchester United’s star striker Robin Van Persie has been linked with a move to the Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce.
The Sun newspaper has stated that Fenerbahce are preparing to offer Van Persie a three year deal. The 31-year-old’s contract runs out in July 2016.
The Netherlands international has lost his place to Wayne Rooney in recent weeks and is unlikely to be offered a new contract at United.
Van Persi has three assists and ten goals in 26 appearances for Manchester United this season.
United are currently forth in the Premier League with 59 points in 30 games and take on Aston Villa next weekend.
Fenerbahce find themselves in third place in the Super Lig with 53 points in 25 games. The Yellow Canaries travel to Rize to take on Caykur Rizespor in the next round of games.
