Mehmet Özdilek resigns as Kayseri Erciyesspor manager

Mehmet Özdilek has resigned as manager of Suat Altın İnşaat Kayseri Erciyesspor following a disappointing run of results.

Erciyesspor have lost four games in a row and have suffered eight defeats in their last ten games in the Turkish Super Lig.

The Blue Dragons sit in 16th place with 20 points in 25 games. The relegation battlers are seven points off 15th placed Eskisehirspor.

Erciyesspor confirmed the news on their official website and are on the hunt for a new manager.

Özdilek had signed a one and a half year contract with the Blue Dragons. The 48-year-old manager has previously managed Gençlerbirliği, Antalyaspor and Malatyaspor.
