Mehmet Topal a doubt for Fenerbahce’s trip to Gaziantepspor

Fenerbahce’s defensive midfielder Mehmet Topal is a doubt for this weekends trip to Gaziantepspor after he came off injured during his sides 4-1 victory over Rizespor in the Ziraat Turkish Cup.
Topal came off with an ankle injury in the final minutes of the game. The Turkish international also scored during the 4-1 victory.
Fenerbahçe qualified for the quarter-finals following the win. Sivasspor, Kayserispor, Bursaspor and Mersin İdman Yurdu have also qualified for the next stage.
Tuzlaspor – Manisaspor, Gençlerbirliği – Eskişehirspor, Galatasaray – Konyaspor will battle it out for their right to play in the quarter-final today.
There will be six Süper Lig and two non top-flight sides in the Last 8 this season.
Galatasaray are the reigning champions having beat EsEs in the final last year.
