Besiktas have kept the points difference between themselves and Fenerbahce down to just one following a 2-1 victory over Mersin Idmanyudu.
The Black Eagles took the lead in the 30th minute via an Olcay Sahan goal but were pegged back in the 61st minute by their former player Sinan Kaloglu. Demba Ba scored the games deciding goal with his backside in the 65th minute.
Besiktas take on Rizespor next weekend.
