The 27-year-old cited improved results against the leagues bigger sides as evidence that the Gunners can lift the Premier League trophy. Arsenal last on the title back in 2004 but have maintained a top four finish ever since.
“We believe in ourselves,” Ozil told Sky Sports.
“If you see the games against the big clubs, we won against them so we know our quality, if we play our game we can win the league. We will give our best all the season for the title.”
The former Real Madrid man has been in sensational form this season and has won back-to-back Vitality Arsenal Play of the Month awards over the last two months.
Arsenal went four points clear of Manchester City following yesterday’s win. The Gunners take on Southampton in their next league game as they look to over take Leicester City who sit at the top of the table.
