Arsenal playmaker Mesut Özil has stated that he believes his second season at Arsenal has been ‘very positive’.
The Germany international said despite missing games due to a knee injury, he is satisfied with his performances.
Özil suffered a knee injury during his sides defeat to Chelsea in October. The 26-year-old spent four months on the sidelines.
“I think it has been very positive. Of course picking up my injury was a negative because I missed a lot of games,” Özil told Arsenal Player when asked about his second season at the North London based club.
“But if you look at the league and my performances, I’m really satisfied. I would say its been a really positive year.”
Özil has seven assists and four goals in all competitions for Arsenal this season.
Arsenal currently find themselves in third place with 60 points in 30 games. The Gunners take on Liverpool next weekend in the Premier League.
