Ozil states the obvious in that Arsenal must win their games while Leicester City and Tottenham have to lose.
“If we take the three points and another team loses points then it will be good for us,” Ozil said.
“In football everything is possible but we have to start believing in ourselves and we have to take the points.
‘This is the most important thing and, of course, we do believe in us and in football everything can happen.”
It may seem pretty straightforward but Arsenal have won just 10 out of a possible 27 points over their last nine games.
Arsenal crashed out of the Champions League at the hands of Barcelona mid-week and also bowed out of the FA Cup last week as well.
The Gunners are currently 11 points behind league leaders Leicester City but have a game in hand and could close the gap to eight points.
Ozil is expected to start today for Arsenal in his usual playmaker role.
