Mesut Özil has taken to social media to post a picture of his ‘game fame’ ahead of the upcoming season.
The Germany international posed a selfie while pulling a serious face and included the following caption, “M1Ö.”
Arsenal won the Arsenal’s Barclays Asia Trophy during their tour of the continent. Özil scored in the 3-1 win over Everton in-front of a packed Singapore Sports Hub on Saturday to secure the trophy.
Ozil has recently been linked with a move away form Arsenal. The Italian newspaper Tuttomercato recently claimed that Juventus would use the money if Pogba was sold to sign the Germany international.
However, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has insisted that reports linking Özil with a move to Juve are not true.
The World Cup winner provided nine assists and five goals in 32 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions last season.
