Mesut Özil’s incredible run in the FA cup continued as he stared in Arsenal’s 4-0 victory over Aston Villa as the Gunners retained the FA Cup to become the most successful team in the competition’s history.
Özil has played ten games in the FA Cup since joining Arsenal from Real Madrid for £44 million back in September 2013.
The 26-year-old has won all ten of the ten FA Cup ties he has played in. Özil has two goals and four assists in the FA Cup over the past two seasons.

Özil played 77 minutes before being taken off in for Jack Wilshere. The 26-year-old received a rating of 7.46 from Who Scored. The Germany international made 46 passes throughout the game and maintained a passing accuracy of 91.3%.
The Germany international took no shots on target, made three successful dribbles, one accurate crosses and three key passes.
Özil has finished the season with nine assists and five goal in 33 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions.
