Mesut Ozil has the ‘quality to change the game’ says Arsenal legend [divider]

Arsenal star Mesut Özil has the quality to be a game changer according to former Gunners player Gilberto Silva.

Silva did however, underlined that Özil does look slow at times and needs to adapt more to the English game.

“I do really like him as a player but sometimes in the game he does look quite slow, although he has that quality to change the game,” Silva told Sportsbeat.

Silva spent six seasons at Arsenal, winning the Premier League, two FA Cups and he played in the 2005-06 Champions League final.

Özil has been criticised by sections of the press and fans for his performances this season however, the 26-year-old has the most assists in the Premier League in 2015.

The World Cup winner also has two goals and five assists in his last five games.

Özil is expected to start for Arsenal today against West Brom at the Emirates next.

The Gunners will be able to keep their place in the top four with a win over the Baggies.
