Mesut Ozil has heaped praise on his Arsenal teammate Santi Cazorla during an interview with Arsenal player.
The 26-year-old discussed fellow midfielder Santi Cazorla’s role in the side and likened himself to the Spanish international.
“[Santi and Alexis] are the type of players that, like myself, think before things happen on the pitch,” Ozil told Arsenal Player.
“Especially with Santi, you can see that he’s playing such an outstanding season for the team and he’s so important for us.”

Santi Cazorla has been linked with a move to Atletico Madrid in recent weeks.
Ozil who was selected as Arsenal Vitality Player of the Month and has provided the highest number of assists for his side since his return from injury.
Arsenal take on Liverpool next in the Premier League after the international break. The Gunners are currently in third place, just one point behind second placed Manchester City.
