Mesut Ozil is 'the main provider in the league' says Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger

Mesut Özil is both Arsenal’s and the Premier League’s “main provider” according to the Gunners manager Arsene Wenger.

The experienced coach stated that it is hard to find players with Ozil’s vision an technical quality.

“Özil is the main provider in our team and in the league,” Wenger told Arsenal FC.

“He has 13 assists in the league. Players who can make you score are very difficult to find and have something special on the vision front and on the technical quality.”

The 27-year-old has won the Arsenal Vitality Player of the Month award for the past two consecutive months and has 13 assist in 15 Premier League games this season.

Özil has played a key role in the north London based side reaching the Champions League Last 16 for the 15th consecutive season.

The Gunners take on Manchester City on Monday in a critical league encounter which could see Arsenalgo top.

The World Cup winner has won back-to-back FA Cups since joining Arsenal from Real Madrid.
