Mesut Ozil was rested tonight as Arsenal recorded a comfortable 4-0 victory over Hull City in the FA Cup.

The Guners ended a winless run of five games to secure a quarter-final clash against Watford.

Olivier Giroud returned to his goal scoring ways when he slotted home a misplaced pass by Hull’s David Meyler. The Frenchman doubled his side lead while Theo Walcott wrapped up the victory with a late goal.

Arsene Wenger was without the suspended Francis Coquelin as well as Petr Cech, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain,Jack Wilshere, Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky due to injury.

Wenger also decided to drop Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey to the bench. The duo both scored against Tottenham in the north London derby on the weekend.
