Mesut Ozil – ‘Paul Scholes criticisms just motivates me’ [divider]
Arsenal star Mesut Özil has revealed that football pundit Paul Scholes criticising him just motivates him more.
Scholes has been one of Özil’s biggest critics this season but the World Cup winner revealed that it does not bother him.
“Let him, as a TV pundit Paul Scholes tries course to polarize. All his statements do is motivate me more,” Özil told Bild in an interview.

Mesut Ozil reveals he has a sixth sense
Scholes recently slammed Özil for slowing Arsenal down and called him a failure following Arsenal’s Champions League exit.
“It was another game from Özil, and another failure to make the big difference,” Schole was quoted as saying in the Express.
Despite his criticisms Özil was voted February Arsenal Vitality Player of the Month and has provided the highest number of assists for his side since his return from injury.
Arsenal take on Liverpool next in the Premier League after the international break.
The Gunners are currently in thrid place, just one point behind second placed Manchester City.
