Mesut Ozil plays staring role in win over Everton

Mesut Özil played a starting role in Arsenal’s victory over Everton in the Premier League today.

The 27-year-old setup Olivier Giroud with a delightful ball for the opening goal on 36 minutes to give the Gunners the lead.

Özil received  rating of 8.26 from WhoScored for his performance against the Toffees.

The former Real Madrid man made five key passes, took one shot on target and provided one assist.

The Germany international made 69 passes during the game and maintained a passing accuracy of 88%.

Özil now has a total of seven assists in all competitions for the north London based club this season.
