Mesut Ozil praises Arsenal teammates concentration during victory over Bayern Munich

Mesut Özil has praised his Arsenal teammates for the concentration they displayed during the Gunner’s 2-0 victory over Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League.

The 27-year-old went onto state that the players were confident of success going into the game despite disappointing results against Olympiakos and Dinamo Zagreb.

“We concentrated from the first minute until the last minute. We believed in ourselves and we knew that we had made massive mistakes in the first two games,” Özil told Arsenal player.

Özil scored the Gunner’s second goal late on in the second half to secure all three points for Arsenal. Olivier Giroud gave his side the lead earlier on in the second half.

The former Real Madrid playmaker made three key passes, took two shots on target and had a pass accuracy of 83%. The Germany international had 53 touches on the ball, made three interceptions and made 36 passes during the game.

The World Cup winner has now scored in his last two big games. Özil netted and provided an assist in the 3-0 win against Manchester United and scored against Bayern yesterday.
