Arsenal star Mesut Özil has revealed his sides game plan ahead of the Champions League Last 16 second-leg game against Monaco.
The Gunenrs lost the first-leg 3-1 at the Emirates but Özil believes Arsenal can still book a place in the quarter finals.
Özil underlined that Arsenal will try to disrupt Monaco’s rhythm and score early.
“We want to disrupt their rhythm and try to score as early as possible,” Özil told the official Arsenal website.
Özil is under no illusions that Arsenal have a tough task ahead of them but believes that his side have performed best under pressure in big games.
“It’s going to be difficult to score three times because they have defended well in the tournament so far, but if you look at our past matches and the way we played against Manchester United last week, I think there’s a chance we can still progress,” he added.
Arsenal will have to score a minimum of three goals or more to stand any chance of knocking Monaco out of the Champions League.
The Gunners are currently third in the Premier League and have reached the semi-final of the FA Cp.
Özil has scored three times and created four goals since returning to the starting team in January.
