Mesut Ozil 'sees things other players do not see' says Arsenal forward Theo Walcott

Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has heaped praise on his teammate Mesut Ozil for his role in the Gunners 2-1 victory over Manchester City in the Premier League.

Walcott put the home side ahead with a well struck shot from outside the area in the 33rd minute. Olivier Giroud doubled the Gunners lead shortly before halftime.

Ozil provided the assists for both goal bringing his assist tally for the season up to 15. The 27-year-old is now just one assist away from equalling Theirry Henry’s record of 16.

“The thing about Mesut is he sees things other players do not see,” Walcott told Sky Sports 1 after the game.

“He knows what he is going to do and when you have special players that provide special moments it makes our job easy.

The former Real Madrid man has been in sensational form this season and has won back-to-back Vitality Arsenal Play of the Month awards over the last two months..

Arsenal take on Southampton in their next league game as they look to over take Leicester City who sit at the top of the table.
