Mesut Ozil slows Arsenal down says Scholes [divider]
Football pundit and Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has revealed that he thinks Mesut Özil slows Arsenal down.
Scholes criticised Özil’s performance in the Champions League Last 16 second-leg game
“He found space but his touch was not great. He tried hard but he slows Arsenal down at times. He was bought to make a difference on nights like that,” Scholes was quoted as saying in the Express.

The former Manchester United midfielder has been critical of Özil recently.
Özil is expected to start against Newcastle United in the Premier League today.
Arsenal are just one point behind second placed Manchester City and could overtake the Citizens with a win against Newcastle United if City draw or lose against West Brom.
The North London based club have not won the Premier League title in 10 years but Özil did win his first piece of silverware as an Arsenal player
Arsene Wenger was manager when Arsenal last won the league and has guided the North London based clubs to two further championships titles.
Özil has scored three times and created four goals since returning to the first team in January.
