Mesut Özil played a staring role in Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Leicester City in the Premier league.
The 26-year-old playmaker assisted the Gunners first goal in the 27th minute of the game. Laurent Koscielny got his head on the end of Özil’s corner giving Arsenal the lead.
Özil received a rating of 8.43 from Whoscored for his performance and was the second highest rated player on the field after Koscielny.
The World Cup winner made 67 passes at a 88.1% passing accuracy and made four key passes during the game.
Özil started his third game in a row for Arsenal tonight. The Germany international has played five games since returning from a long spell on the sidelines due to a knee injury.
The former Real Madrid man has scored two goals and provided two assist in his three starts since his return.
Arsenal have moved up to 4th place with 45 points in 25 games.
