Arsenal star Mesut Özil has wished former Real Madrid teammate Sergio Ramos a happy birthday.

Özil shared an image alongside Ramos and tweeted, “Happy Birthday Bro.”

The World Cup spent three seasons at Real after joining from Werder Bremen in 2010.

Özil provided 81 assists and scored 27 goals in 159 games for the Spanish giants.

The 26-year-old won the La Liga and Copa Del Rey while at Real.

The former Galactico joined Arsenal for a record £42.5 million transfer fee last season and is currently on international duty with Germany.

Özil became the first player of Turkish origin to win the World Cup with Germany last summer in Brazil.

The Arsenal playmaker starred in Germany’s 2-0 victory over Georgia in the Euro 2016 qualification clash last Saturday.

The Gunners are currently third with 60 points after 30 games, just one point behind second placed Manchester City.
