Beşiktaş defender Alex Milosevic has underlined that he is ready to fight for his place in the team.
“Beşiktaş are a great club and there is already a number of defenders competing for a place in the starting lineup,” Milosevic told Fanatik.
“I have prepared myself physically and mentally for the challenges of playing in the Super Lig and believe I am ready to play.”
The Swedish international played for Serbia at U-17 level but later switched allegiance to his country of birth Sweden.
The 22-year-old defender of Serbian origin joined the Black Eagles from AIK after spending four years playing for the Swedish side.
Milosevic signed a 3.5 year deal with the Black Eagles earlier in the month.
The powerful defender created two assists and scored three goals in 28 appearances for AIK this season before his move to Turkey.
Beşiktaş have also completed the loan transfer of Daniel Opare from Porto and the signing of HSV Hamburg midfielder Tolgay Arslan.
The Black Eagles are just one point behind league leaders Fenerbahçe on 38 points after 18 games.
Milosevic made his debut against Sarıyer in the Turkish Cup. The Black Eagles won the game 3-1 to move into second place in Group F.
