“Molde want €2.5 million for Martin, we will see what happens this month,” Karlsen was quoted as saying by Fanatik.
“Beşiktaş want to negotiate a better price so talks are ongoing, rumours that the deal is over are false, everything will become clear very soon.”
The Black Eagles have been keeping close tabs on Linnes for several months as they continue efforts to sign a right-back.
Beşiktaş have been in direct talks with Molde and are reported to be on the verge of securing a deal.
The Black Eagles have also been linked with Dinamo Zagreb’s Ivo Pinto, Cruzeiro’s Mayke and Udinese’s Cameroon international Nyom.
Linnes provided seven assists and scored five goals in 38 games in 2014.
