Monaco have tabled a €4.5 million bid for Galatasaray’s centre back Aurelien Chedjou according to the Turkish newspaper Milliyet.

However, Galatasaray have turned down the bid from the Ligue 1 side for their Cameroonian international.

Chedjou represented Cameroon at the Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Equatorial Guinea.

Cameroon were sent crashing out of the group stages following the defeat against Ivory Coast after finishing last in the group.

Galatasaray signed Chedjou from Lille OSC for €6.3 million last season.

Chedjou currently earns €2.2 million per-season and has two and a half years left on his contract.
