Mustafa Pektemek to undergo surgery

Mustafa Pektemek will undergo surgery following a head collision during Besiktas’s clash against Trabzonspor in the Super League.
The 26-year-old had to be taken to hospital after colliding with Essiad Belkalem in the air.
Besiktas released a statement on their official website regarding Pektemek’s treatment.
The statement read: “Mustafa Pektemek’s head collided with Belkalem during the Besiktas – Trabzonspor match. Pektemek suffered a broken nose and fractures to the face.
“Mustafa Pektemek was transferred to the Acıbadem Maslak hospital this morning.”
“Prof. Dr. Hasan Tanyeri has decided that Mustafa Pektemek will require surgery.”
Mustafa Pektemek has made 14 appearances for Besiktas this season.
