With the Turkish transfer deadline drawing to a close tonight, the latest reports from Istanbul are that Galatasaray are on the verge of making one last bid for the Ghana superstar.
The 'Lions' are expected to match Sunderland's valuation of €8.5 million as there is no longer time to negotiate a lower price.
Speaking to SkySports Asamoah Gyan refused to deny a move to Galatasaray:
"I heard the news like everyone, before I came to England, there was a transfer bid from a Turkish club and I choose to come here.
"I am flattered by their interest but like I said it is up to Sunderland.
"I am at Sunderland, if they accept a bid from any club, I will have to speak to that club, as you know I am preparing for a game against Brazil and not thinking about any transfer."
