Bursaspor - Timsah Arena stadium nearing completion

Bursaspor's new stadium project, the Timsah Arena is expected to be completed within a year. The stadiums Crocodile theme ties in with the clubs moniker, The Green Crocodiles.

The new stadium will have a 45,000 capacity and is being constructed within the vicinity of the regeneration of the Osmangazi area of Bursa.

- A 560 vehicle and 250 coach capacity car-park will be located underneath the stadium.

- The stadium will be six-story-tall.

- A Bursaspor store, cafes and restaurants will be located inside and adjacent to the stadium.

- The stadium will meet UEFA guidelines and be available for use in European cup competitions.

Bursa with its 2.6 million population is Turkey's 4th largest city, situated in the Marmara region, just a hours travelling distance from Istanbul. The Timsah Arena will replace the current Bursaspor venue, the 25,000 capacity Bursa Atatürk stadium.
