Galatasaray are preparing to make a move for Salomon Kalou following Chelsea's decision to release the Ivory Coast international as a free agent.
The Lions are reported to have an offer lined-up worth €3.5 million per-season on a three-year contract.
The Istanbul club had offered a contract worth in the region of €3-4 million per-season on a four year deal during the winter transfer window however, the deal later fell through.
Kalou's compatriot Emmanuel Eboué has also been encouraging the 26-year-old winger into making the move.
The Lions are currently active in the transfer market looking for a suitable left winger ahead of their Champions League campaign.
Kalou's ability to play on either wing as well as upfront has made him highly sought-after by the Istanbul club.
Galatasaray struggled down the left side of midfield last season, Albert Riera failed to live up to expectations, forcing Manager Fatih Terim into playing Emre Çolak out of position on the wing.
Kalou joined Chelsea in 2006 on a €4 million move from Feyenoord. The Ivory Coast international went on to score 60 goals in 254 appearances for the Blues and started in Chelsea's Champions League final victory against Bayern Munich.
Galatasaray won their 18th league title last season and are managed by Fatih Terim, one of Turkish footballs most well renowned coaches.
