Lakhwiya Sport Club sign Senegal international Issiar Dia for €4 million

Lakhwiya Sport Club Company have completed the transfer of Fenerbahçe winger Issiar Dia.
The Istanbul club confirmed the move on the, Public Disclosure Forum (KAP), "Issiar Dia has reached an agreement with Lakhwiya Sport Club Company. The transfer fee will be €4 million, Dia will officially sign once he has passed his medical."
Dia struggled to settle in at Fenerbahçe and was reported to be unhappy with failing to secure a regular starting position at the club.
The Senegalese international featured in 16 league matches last season however, only made six starts for the Yellow Canaries.
Dia suffered a string of injuries over the course of the season which also contributed to his lack of playing time. The most severe of which was a torn shoulder which saw him ruled out for two months.
The 24-year-old winger joined the Istanbul giants from French club AS Nancy-Lorraine for €6.5 million in 2010 on a four-year contract.
Dia has become the second Fenerbahçe player to join the Qatari league, compatriot Mamadou Niang was transferred to Al Sadd last season.
Lakhwiya Sport Club Company won the Qatar Stars League last season.
